A few quick answers.
Do I need to create an account?
No. Your diary and progress records are stored on your device. AI uses an anonymous installation identity. Export records you want to keep before uninstalling or changing devices.
What is included in the free AI experience?
One successful AI food analysis, shared across camera, library and text. You can review, edit and save the result. It does not automatically start a subscription. Manual tracking remains free.
How do I restore or cancel Premium?
Use Restore purchases in Calniva with the Apple Account used to subscribe. For cancellation, open Apple subscriptions. Annual and monthly plans unlock the same Premium features. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Can you recover my diary?
Calniva does not provide a cloud diary backup. If you exported a backup, use the app’s import option. Restoring a subscription only restores access and does not recover local records.
What if AI is unavailable or the result looks wrong?
Check your connection, wait briefly and retry. You can continue with manual logging. Review portions and ingredients in every AI result, and use the correction tools where available. Contact us with the error message, not your device credentials.
How do I stop sharing with AI or request deletion?
Open Settings → AI & privacy and withdraw permission to stop new AI uploads. Delete local records in Settings → Data & privacy. For information held by our servers, email tsinginc@gmail.com with “Calniva privacy” in the subject. We may need limited device information to locate anonymous records. Read our privacy policy.
Where can I download Calniva?
Calniva is preparing for its iPhone release. The official App Store link will appear here when the app is available.
